Packed Room for Lent Talks in Westminster

Richard Ounsworth OP speaking in Vaughan HouseThis year there is a Dominican flavour to the Lent talks being given at Westminster Cathedral in London.

The Friars are working in partnership with the Westminster Diocese’s office for Evangelisation to deliver the annual series of ‘Faith Matters’ Lent talks .

The series began last Tuesday in a packed lecture theatre with Fr. Richard Ounsworth OP‘s exploration of what the Sacred Scriptures tell us about Jesus. Does the Bible teach us that Jesus is God? Or is this doctrine a later invention of the Church?

The series continues this evening at 7pm with Fr. John Farrell OP addressing the question: ‘Why do we need the Church?’. The talks are given every Tuesday at Vaughan House, 46 Francis Street, London SW1P 1QN.
