DYA Study Day: Picturing the Cross
About the day
As Holy Week approaches, join the Dominican friars for a day of study and prayer in preparation for the most sacred week of the liturgical year. Together, we will delve into the mystery of the Cross—exploring the Passion narrative in St. Mark’s Gospel and looking at how Christ’s sacrifice has been depicted in art and poetry. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion, as well as the opportunity to meet fellow young Catholics. We will celebrate Mass together in the priory church, and lunch will be provided.
Join us as we prepare ourselves to journey with Christ through the great celebrations of Holy Week!
