In this new short video for summer 2025, seven young Dominican Friars who are in active ministry, and one who is about to be ordained, pull back the curtain to reveal the difficulties and the joys of their life: the variety of roles they take on, the demands placed upon them, and how their time in Oxford prepared them for all this.

Meet Fr Toby, Fr Nicholas, Fr Matthew, Fr Joseph, Fr Bede, Br (soon to be Fr) John, Fr Thomas and Fr Albert, all ordained in the last decade, and now charged with great responsibilities – including the pastoral care of students, running a radio station, and heading up the English Province.

The careful formation of Dominican friars is a lengthy process that relies on the generous support of donors.
