Before Hurricane Melissa struck, we prepared four short video reports from the friars in Jamaican and Grenada, to show the good work that they are doing with your support.

St Martin de Porres, pray for the Caribbean!
Today, 3 November, is normally kept as the feast of St Martin de Porres, the humble Dominican saint who is the patron of our fundraising for the brothers in the Caribbean. We ask his intercession for those affected by the hurricane, and for the good work of the friars serving in Jamaica and Grenada. We also ask his blessing upon the many generous people who have sent donations in the last few days. As soon as circumstances allow, we shall be organising a transfer of funds to Jamaica.
Please continue to pray for Jamaica and for our friars’ work in the Caribbean.
