Ordinations at Blackfriars, 2013

On Saturday 27 July, at Blackfriars Oxford, Br Nicholas Crowe OP was ordained to the diaconate and Br Gregory Pearson OP was ordained to the priesthood. The ordinations were done by our Dominican brother, Malcolm McMahon OP, Bishop of Nottingham. In attendance were family members and friends, including Dominican friars, sisters, and laity.

We would also like to congratulate our brother, Augustine DeArmond OP, a former contributor to Godzdogz, who was recently ordained to the priesthood in Memphis, Tennessee. More photos from Fr Augustine’s ordination are available here.
Godzdogz will miss the contributions of Fr Gregory as he moves to take up his curacy at the parish of St Dominic in Haverstock Hill, London. Br Nicholas will continue on the Godzdogz team during his final year of studies at Blackfriars, Oxford.
